From the moment I arrived my guide Kencho was keen to help and to share Bhutanese culture. The scenery was stunning and we also went to a local village festival which was really interesting with a very friendly atmosphere. The support team for the trek were also great, a good variety of food on the way and I was well looked after at all times.

Flexible throughout, he arranged the perfect mix of culture and activities across the most beautiful parts of the country. The Druk Path trek and Tiger’s Nest were huge highlights.

The downside? I wasn’t ready to go home after 10 days 🙁

and I enjoyed my week or so thoroughly. I visited many of the important sights and ended up with the great walk up to the famous Tiger's Nest Monastery just above Paro. It was a good idea to enter Bhutan by road from India at the Phuentsholing Gate as the road journey is very worthwhile. I flew back to Delhi 'over the Himalayas' with wonderful views from Paro Airport. I would recommend Chencho and his company to anyone who is arranging a tour of Bhutan.
